Documentation or information required before registering your Singapore company
You will need to provide us with the following documents before incorporation:
- Company name (JSE Offices can help to check for name availability)
- Company Special Entity Number (SUN) if you prefer to choose a preferred UEN from the list of reserved UENs at a fee (JSE Offices will be providing a list of available UENs for you to choose).
For information, each Company will be given a UEN (Unique Entity Number) which serves as a legal identification number for your company. If you do not prefer to choose your special UEN, ACRA will provide a random unique number for your company once it has been incorporated.

How long does it take to register your Singapore company?
Once we have all the required documents and information, signed paperwork in place, and provided that the Company name has been reserved, we can assist on incorporating the company with ACRA. This can be done within the same day under regular circumstances. In some circumstances, it may take longer when the authorities request for more information.
How do you know if your company has been incorporated?
Once your company incorporation has been approved by ACRA, we will be forwarding the Business Profile on the same day of approval to your email address. The Business Profile will state your Company Name, UEN No, share capital, registered address and the details of its respective directors and shareholders.
You may also request to purchase a Certificate of Incorporation at a fee. The Certificate of Incorporation is an official electronic document issued by ACRA to confirm and authenticate your company incorporation. Do check with JSE Offices for more information via our chat box below.
What do you have to consider upon incorporation?
After incorporation, you may need to consider on:
- Opening corporate bank account(s) for the Company
- Creating a rubber stamp for the Company
- Obtaining one or more business license before commencing on your business operations. This is only needed when the business activities fall under the category of educational institutes, financial services, import/export, travel agencies, etc.
